The Purpose of Chinese Gene Company BGI Group Collecting Genes of over 8 Million Women Worldwide

The Chinese genomics company BGI Group used the NIFTY test, which stands for Non-Invasive Fetal Trisomy Test, to collect the genes of more than 8 million pregnant women from 52 countries around the world, and shared them with the Chinese Communist military.

On July 7th, Reuters disclosed that an investigation of publicly available documents revealed that the BGI Group had collaborated with the CCP military to collect extensive genetic data using prenatal genetic testing. More than 8 million pregnant women in at least 52 countries around the world have used BGI’s products.

On January 30th, 2021, Reuters reported that from investigations of over 40 documents and papers, they found that BGI has been cooperating with the CCP’s military and participated in a number of projects for them.
