Paul Young & his band The Royal Family (Ian Kewley (keyboards), Pino Palladino (bass), Steve Bolton (guitar), Mark Pinder (drums) and his amazing backing singers George Chandler, Jimmy Chambers & Tony Jackson. There's another keyboard player there too, but don't know who!
I transferred this from an old VHS tape a few years ago and unfortunately didn't keep the concert details (I used to have recording dates, full song details etc). It doesn't usually matter but it looks like this concert was recorded and/or broadcasted over two nights. I say this as there are two separate performances of "Playhouse" and credits started rolling in the middle of my recording after "Every Time You Go Away". I can only guess that I ran out of tape as the recording finishes in the middle of "Da Doo Ron Ron". Anyway I've messed around with it and stitched it together as best I can, and yes I know it's not the correct running order, but does it really matter?
Not exactly sure when this was recorded, tracklisting would suggest late 1984/early 1985. I didn't buy a video recorder until the week before Live Aid, July 1985! Any info appreciated and I'll update info on here.
Hope you enjoy, it's not great video quality but as far as I can see there isn't another recording of this out there!
